Audi mud flaps

I designed and printed these for my early 83 coupe gt because the few examples offered online are never available. They’re 3d printed in strong tough flexible TPU filament. They have a lip on them which hangs on the inward edge of the fenders. You will still need to align the flaps before attaching and to drill holes through the flap and through the inner edge of your fender wall to attach them. (I had hoped to use a metal clip to grip the metal edge of the fender but I realized they would not hold well enough). Initially I thought 3d printing these would be too expensive but I discovered the cost of rubber plate to be much higher than expected.

They stick out the sides of the car a bit, but I wanted them this way to look a bit like rally mud flaps. However, you can place them in any position you like since the incorporated lip only aids in placement…It’s the screws that really hold them in place.

To be honest… These have lots of tiny zits and tiny imperfections, mostly in the side that faces the tire. So I wouldn’t call them ‘perfect’. But they look cool and I wasn’t going to find them any other place, so printing them was the best choice. However, they do consume a great deal of filament and time, so they’re not extremely inexpensive. It was the best option for my needs adn maybe you’d like a set also...
